We carefully select the best fabrics, materials and our most talented seamstresses to create an exceptional umbrella. Each umbrella is individually hand-cut and requires the utmost attention. For this range, H2o Parapluies draws on all its history and expertise to make a unique umbrella, one that's just right for you!
It takes an average of three hours of sewing and assembly to produce a prestige umbrella, with over 80% of each model made in France.
Each umbrella is adorned with a chouchou, a small piece of fabric mounted on the runner, inherited from silk parasols to protect the canvas. The chouchou is meticulously sewn by hand before the umbrella is covered, requiring 20 minutes of precise work, marking the first stage in the manufacture of the prestige range.
Our prestige selection offers you a haute couture umbrella, made from 16 to 40 pieces of fabric. Our seamstresses assemble two to five pieces of fabric per tip, a technical feat to ensure even tension of the canopy from base to tip.
To finish off your umbrella, we've made a double-coated sleeve in our workshops, with the dominant colour on the outside and the secondary colour on the inside. The cords will allow you to take your new co
